A Moto – The motorcicle

A Porta – The door 

A Maçaneta – The Doorknob 

O Banco (da frente / dianteiro) – The (front) Seat

O Banco (de trás / traseiro) – The (back) Seat  

O Volante – The Steering Wheel 

A Buzina – The Horn 

O Porta-luvas – The Glove Box 

O Pedal (do freio, da embreagem, do acelerador) – The Pedal (brake, clutch, accelerator) 

O Freio de mão – Handbrake 

O Câmbio / A marcha – The Gear

O Cinto de segurança – The seat belt 

O retrovisor – The rear view mirror

A Gasolina – Gasoline

The most common actions when driving:

Ligar o carro – Turn on the car 

Dirigir – Drive 

Acelerar – Speed up 

Frear – Stop 

Passar a marcha – Shifting gear

Dar ré – Reverse
